Poppy

Happy Friday!

Not much new here so I may ramble on about random things.

Good news for today, I read for 15 minutes in 3 different books. I have not done a lot of reading this month so decided today I would read for 15 minutes each in different books.

It's my day off and I'm relaxing today.

Today is Monday July 31, 2017

I lost a family member yesterday and I'm still very sad about it. I didn't expect it to hit me so hard but it did and I was at work when I found out. I cried and it took about a half hour before I was calm so I could work my shift.

I see death a lot with working in nursing and I'm more emotional because of it. It's never easy and never will be. 

Only 2 people have touched my life where I was in tears for them. Sue and my Poppy. I miss them very much.

Can't have a girls night or give Poppy kisses anymore. I won't see there smiles but I will remember them and the memories I got to make with both Sue and Poppy.

Now I'm going to shower and get ready for the day. 

Movie and Relaxing

So it's been almost a week since my last post on LJ and not sure of the last time I posted in My Life's Writings page.

It's okay though because I have been working and relaxing after work. I also have been counting down the days for King Arthur to come out which it did yesterday.

I watched it twice and 😍😍😍😍 it and love the special effects too.

Home has been good, the washer is leaking which sucks and my grampa can't figure out why. So last night I did my laundry the old fashioned way.

So I filled the bathtub with hot water, used a tide pod which I held under running water so it would break open. Put my clothes in and washed them.

After I did that, I let the water out then ran like warm water to rinse out the tide. Then I rang them out by hand. Yes I did all this.

My hands are sore but I needed to have clean clothes and didn't want to go to the laundry mat so I did it at home.

My arms hurt too but hey it's a small workout plus I have clean clothes. My gramps was not impressed but he hasn't hooked up the other washer in the house.

Anyways I'm good, been trying to get to bed early but not doing so good with that. Hoping to hear back from a job interview this week and just going to relax.

Not much else going on with me at the moment. Bills are being paid off which is good and getting ahead.

So I'm going to stop there for now and get a lunch ready for work tonight.

Today, Interview, Life

Ok, today was a bit stressful but I don't want to share the negative part so I'm going to focus on positive things.

I had today off and a interview. I believe the interview went well and I'm hoping to get the job but if I don't then it's their loss.

I did see Nate today and we only talked briefly but it was nice to see him. 

Finally caught up on Game of Thrones! Really don't want to wait for Sunday but have to. Also The Originals (spinoff of Vampire Diaries) is ending next year 😢

I love The Originals and dad to see it go, they are filming season 5 right now I think. Sad to see it go but I will watch til the end.

Not much is new besides work and the interview. I have had a good day, tomorrow is pay day and bills will be paid.

Tuesday King Arthur comes out which I'm excited for!!! It's a great movie and Charlie Hunam does a great job as Arthur.

I think that's it, not much else going on. Been watching videos on YouTube of different things and now I can resume Vampire Diaries. 

Not sure what to watch after that but I'm sure I will find something. Watching National Treasure then bed.

Meghan and Adrain Welcome Their Daughter!

Happy Tuesday! 

Good things happened during the night, my friends Meghan and Adrian had their daughter! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I'm happy that labor went well and I'm very happy for them. She is beautiful and they are blessed.

In other news, I have today off which is nice and I need it. Been working a lot and still waiting to hear back from the hospital.

Work has been very good, it's been a little stressful but good. Now getting caught up on Game of Thrones and relaxing.

I don't have much news, not much is new besides Meghan and Adrain welcoming their daughter into the world.

I'm really happy for them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
