Yesterday and Today part of

The last 24 hours have been going very well and I feel accomplished. No I haven't done a lot but to me it's the little things in life.

Yesterday I did some reading well... a lot of reading which is great because I am trying to reach my goal of reading 85 books this year. Almost there too so very happy about being near my goal.

I watched some more Criminal Minds and started watching Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. I wanted to do a Harry Potter marathon yesterday but did other things instead.

I do need to invest in the Harry Potter movies, I want to watch them all!

Okay back to yesterday, I got a lot of reading done in The Vampires Ange De La Mort and I hope to continue reading it today.

I am finishing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets then take a little break.

Today I finished doing my LNA homework which I am turning in tomorrow. I also am hoping to finish another book today beside the vampire one.

Tomorrow I am going to get a jar or a candle holder like you see in the garden department at Walmart. I'm getting it because I want to write down all the happy memories of 2017 and put them in the jar.

I saw it on Facebook and think it's a great idea then at the end of 2017, I will read them and I can reflect. I am also going to decorate it too.

So lately things are great, I'm happy and looking forward to a new year. Most of the time I don't look forward to a new year but this time I am trying some new things.

I may have lost a few friends along the way but it may be for the best so we can grow as people.

Okay, going to watch Harry Potter and then get on with the rest of my day. Oh yes yesterday was beautiful outside!

Now I'm done babbling.

Today is December 29, 2016 and the above writing was written on the 28th. I forgot to post it.

It's okay because I want to add more and may update more today too, not sure but hey I like to write.

Not much new today, things are good and hoping to get a few things done and do more reading too. 

I think I need to reflect more and just get out more. I had a photo pop up on my memories today and it was a black and white photo of me, Abby and Jen. It was a long time ago (according to facebook it was 6 years ago that the photo was posted), feels longer.

I have been reflecting a lot lately and even though it's good times and bad times I still look back and the good times make me smile. The bad times make me think but if I didn't make those decisions I wouldn't be me.

A lot of people cannot handle my straightforward thinking and I think that bothers people a lot. It's ok, I know people can't handle me and if you can't that's fine, I'm happy with who I am.

I am going through a few struggles but I'm confident that things will work out. Maybe it's time for me too stay the way I am and never change. I may change my hair and add more tattoos but my personality will never change.

So I'm waiting for laundry to dry at the moment and then shower, I am going out shopping later because I need to pick up a pay stub from one job and I plan to shop before doing that. This way on my way home I can stop and get the pay stub, also I need to drop off my LNA ho,eWorld so that is first.

I think that's all I wanted to say for now, laundry and shower then go to one job then shop and go to the other job and then home before the storm comes.

I work tomorrow so I'm hoping the roads will not be too bad by 3pm but we will see.

So for now I bid farewell and I need to read, laundry, and then shower. Hope I can meet my reading goal by the end of the year.

Reflecting

This was written on December 26, 2016

So today I was very sick and it has been awhile since I have Benin that sick. It was not fun and I was not happy.

I called out to work at the nursing home because of my symptoms. I have the next 3 days off to get better too.

Work is good and I worked Christmas Day to be with the residents. I gave them hugs and it was great seeing them.

Life is good, I did a video for my YouTube account for my OneYear Transformation because today marks 1 year that I started it. 

The last 6 months I have been up and down mentally but I'm happy with my outcome. Work was challenging at the college because I moved into culinary and worried that I was not doing well.

Turns out I'm doing fine and once I relaxed I was fine and enjoyed work. 

The nursing home has been fine and I have been working almost every weekend. I went back to Minnesota and had a fantastic time!!!

Traveling was great and I managed to work the global chef week after getting back. It wasn't easy but happy to have a French chef at work.

I got to see Matt when he came up for the Psi U reunion and it was great catching up with him.

I did let a few friendships go, it wasn't easy but I don't want to waste my time or the other persons time. It's like I'm a burden to them and I don't want that.

I'm working on being positive and just working on me.

I'm going to try a few thins in 2017 and see how it goes. I'm going to still do my videos for a One Year Transformation on you tube.

So I'm relaxing and watching Criminal Minds, maybe eat a little more and then off to bed plus load up my video.

Today and last Saturday's post

Today is a crappy day outside! 

So for good news I'm going to share a lot or a little. I'm watching Hercules with Dwayne Johnson in it. I'm thinking of getting a Apple TV and I'm not entirely sold on it yet.

I'm using apple products and want a mac book but I'm not sure that Apple TV is right for me. I have Romulo and I like it so maybe have it for a few more years but the problem is all the movies and tv shows purchased probably won't transfer over to Apple.

Yes some movies I do have through iTunes and could probably access them but I would have to buy everything so not sure what to do so for now going to use Romulo.

Got some reading done yesterday and hope to do more today. Watched Suicide Squad today too and that was a FANTASTIC movie!!! I think that will be on my list to buy.

Not much else is new, got my air dragon colored in and it's healing plus made my appointment to get my earth dragon next month on Friday the 13th. Yes I like getting tattoos on Friday the 13th.

Things are good in my life, I'm taking time off to heal my tattoo and it's my me time too before starting work at the nursing home.  So I go back to work Tuesday which is good cause I do need to pay my bills and I want to save up. 

So that is my news for now, going to watch the movie.

I never did post the above writing, I must have forgotten. Today's date is December 22, 2017.

It feels longer than the last I posted and I know it has not been that long. I have been working which is good and it's nice to get out of the house too. 

I remember the date for the above entry which was this past Saturday December 17, 2017 because I got my air dragon colored in on Friday and Saturday we got snow.

So for now I'm wide awake and typing away on my iPad mini. I usually use my phone a lot  more but it's time I use the iPad mini too. 

Family is good, life is good and I'm working which is good. 

Not much is new but that's okay, now to watch a movie then fold laundry because I did laundry earlier. I have today off and just going to relax and do some reading too, lots of books to read and I want to hit my goal of 85 books read this year for my challenge on Goodreads. I'm about 65% done but I need to keep going.

Today and Tattoo

Today was a great day! I got my secret santa gifts in the mail and mailed 3 cards. I do know that they may not make it in time and it's ok, it's the thought that counts.

Not much else is new, the college is on winter break which is awesome!!! I got to sleep in today which was nice.

Been working a lot this week and using vacation time for next week so I can get a full two weeks pay for work. Some extra money at the end of the month.

Didn't do much today, got my medicine and now I get a 3 month supply of my birth control which is cheaper and that's good.

Now I'm at Art for Life to get my air dragon colored in and hopefully get my earth dragon done next month. Just need a quote for it.

Friday was Fantastic!

I don't know when I last posted but hey sometimes you need time away from social media.

My week has been busy with work and I picked up extra hours next week but it's the last week at the college then I'm on winter break.

On Friday I'm getting my air dragon colored in and taking about 5 days off so I can let it heal and do nothing. It's like a vacation for me before I start picking up hours at the nursing home.

Work has been good and I went out last night too. Also I pre-gamed at home which I don't do. My gram insisted on a family birthday party for me and I am not sure why I started drinking but I did.

I was going out so I had Mikes hard pink lemonade which was good. I had 3 of those dinner and cake. Connie made my cake and everyone loved it.

So karaoke was canceled last night and we decided to go to Kil Kenny's. Haven't been there in a very long time.

Met with coworkers and Connie and Tim bought me drinks. I thanked them. It was fun being out because I rarely go out.

I don't really go out because I'm trying to save money and people don't invite me out oh like Jen Diamond. 

That's ok Jen, I'm better off without you.

So back to last night, I had drinks and was feeling alcohol in me but I had fun and I got to see Kevin!

It was funny because I was buzzed and I saw him and kept thinking "that looks like Kevin" and after I saw his turtle tattoo I knew it was him.

I messaged him on facebook and misspelled a few words but when he messaged me back I went up to him to say hi.

This wasn't planned either, it just happens that we were both out in the same bar. 

It was great to see him too because he lives out of town and I only to talk to him through messenger.

Also yesterday I became a Posh consultant. I'm excited for that and hoping to spread Posh happiness everywhere.

So yesterday was very good and I had a lot of fun last night. 

Now today I'm relaxing and working later.

Finally December has started! It's crazy to think how fast the year has gone by too.

I'm doing much better since the holiday and just looking forward to a tattoo. Yes I'm finally getting my air dragon colored in.

Also got a lot done yesterday which is good. Car is inspected and registered and I do need new tires, I think it's just the 2 front ones but will look today.

Not much is new just the same work and home. I have been getting stuff in the mail and I got one of my secret santa gifts yesterday.

The person who had me sent a letter because she couldn't put it with the gift so the letter came first then the gift came yesterday. 

Now when I get packages I look to see where it's from and I know I didn't order anything from New York. After thinking about it I figured it out and it was a gift from my secret santa.

The secret santa got me a Sherpa throw. One side is stripped and the other side is Sherpa or like a Sherpa wool. It's very warm and will keep me warm on a cold day/night. The other side is purple stripes

I need to mail out my gifts next week for my secret santas and Christmas shopping will be done!

I'm working all day today which is good for the extra hours but I do want to take a weekend off but that will be when I get my air dragon colored in.

Next week is my birthday and I don't have any plans for it. Connie is making my cake for me, it's chocolate with a raspberry mousse. I may go out Friday but havent figured out where yet. 

I do know I'm sticking with my tradition of getting something from Edible Arrangements for my birthday.

Guess I need to figure out where to go.

Anyways need to get going because work is going to make a very long day today.
