Poppy's Funeral

Hey everyone.

I hope you are doing better than me. I went to Poppy's funeral yesterday and cried a lot. I miss him very much! 

He had a beautiful service and was buried with full military honors (he was in the navy). The family had a VHS put on to DVD from his 75th Birthday with photos from his family, him growing up in Canada and from his navy days.

I'm glad I got to see more of him and give him good night kisses. His death brings me sadness and joyous memories.

I also put my bracelet on his coffin, it had a heart and red heads on it so he could be buried with it and know it's from me.

It was a tough day yesterday and I wore a blue skirt for Poppy so he would enjoy the colorful day even though it was overcast.

Poppy was buried in a very beautiful spot in Gilsum. He was under trees and can roam around the woods. 

He always loved nature and getting outside.

Poppy, you will be missed dearly. 💝
