Today was 4 on the 4th race day! It’s a 4 mile race to help our pathways in Keene. I walked today and did pretty good despite the heat wave.
The race times were moved up due to heat so I started at 730am with all the walkers. At 8am the runners started.
The race went well and I got to see Adrian and Meghan too and I cheered them on during the race.
I got to the finish line and Jen was there with Eliana and they cheered me on, after I went over to say hi and I told Jen it was nice to have someone cheering me on at the end.
The races I do, I don’t always have someone there cheering me on at the end which is ok but it is nice.
So I hung out with Jen and Eliana waiting for Adrian and Meghan. Jen told me that Emily was in the race too so we cheered her on also.
When Adrian got closer I picked up Eliana (out of the stroller) to hold her and cheer her dad on. After we went through the sprinkler to cool off.
We also cheered Meghan on too as she cane across the finish line then we went to breakfast after.
It was nice to see Jen and James and Emily today. We all had a great time and it was nice to get out.
