Happy Warm Sunday

I forgot to update after my last post, let’s blame it on the heat wave that is going on right now. 

Not much is new with me since my last post. I have stayed inside a lot since Friday because it’s really hot and too hot to be outside. 

I love warm weather and getting out but sometimes the heat is too much for me. I have been inside and I went to church today.

It was warm inside and I still went in a dead. The material is a bit heavy but it looked nice. Not many people went today, probably because it’s a holiday weekend.

No plans for fireworks for me which is ok, I’m working on the 4th but it’s also holiday pay too. Other than that, not much is planned.

Things are good at home, got to see my big sis today and hope to see her during the week since she is in Keene and chesterfield too. We will see.

I have read more books, got an ARC of one book (advanced reader copy) for an honest review and that book was read in 2 days. I didn’t really like the length and how long it took to get to be point but overall it had great characters and hot sexy cowboys with beards. Can’t go wrong with that.

So the day the review goes up is in my calendar and wrote the review in my notes. It’s all set and easy to go.

I have a profile on goodreads which is a site where you can find books, leave reviews and follow authors. My reviews go up on that site too and I can set a reading challenge for myself.

My goal this year was to read 15 books. Normally I go higher on the number of books but decided to decrease because I have months where I don’t read at all and other months I read 4 books or more.

Anyways I hit my goal before May and have read a total of 40 books so far this year! That’s a lot worth training for 5ks and working in between plus keeping of with Star Wars Galaxy of Heores game too.

I think this year so far has been good, of course I had bumps in the road but I’m happy with what I have done so far. I think church has helped me along the way too and helped me with coping with my grams passing last October.

So for now that is my news, think I will read some more then binge watch NCIS. Season 15 is now on Netflix which is awesome! Also have a race on Wednesday and hope to say hi to Meg and Adrian, they are doing the same race I am.
