I got paid obviously which is good. I paid some of my car insurance (due in November), I slit that bill and pay 2X a year for it. So if I can pay weekly on it then I don’t have to worry about the lump sum come due date.
I paid on 2 of my credit cards! I did a small amount but I’m also working on paying them off and not charging to them. I want to build better credit so paying them off is a great start.
I bought diapers today for a friend who has a kid, I meant to shop it to her but instead it’s coming to me. It’s ok because I can make sure she’s home then drop them off.
Did some shopping today. Bought a fairy loot box. It’s YA books and I think it comes with goodies too but only did a single box not a plan.
Bought some LuLa Roe tank tops. I like the blue color so bought 2.
I think that’s it, besides shopping at Walmart but spent $20 there. Do need to send out my cousins birthday card with money in it. It’s her birthday today and she is 7 years old!
Also need to send Lee a card too so maybe on Saturday I will get him a card and put money in it.
So as much as I did payments and shopped I still have money left which is good and I need to work on not shopping so much too.
So in other news, I’m doing the 52 week money challenge which I started in January and I’m up to week 31!!!! It’s going strong and I’m happy, decided to start another jar of the 52 week money challenge and put $1 aside for week 1.
Every week of the year you put money aside. Example week 5 is $5, week 8 is $8 and so on. At the end you save $1378 ( I think that’s the total) and you can do what you want with it.
Pay a bill or treat yourself, donate to charity or just keep saving.
And that is my news today, I’m happy and glad to be paying bills off and now it’s time to relax.
