I'm Slacking!
I'm slacking but not a lot, I had the holiday off and splurged on one thing for myself. I bought a soda stream online and will get it next week, I bought this because I like carbonated water and I need to look at flavors or what I can do to add flavor.
Not much is new, I am relaxing and may go to the store with my grampa tomorrow to help him.
Everything else is going well and I am happy. That is all I have for now but hope to post a bit more in the next few weeks.

Way Behind on Things!
Hello, long time no see! Crazy it has been since I have not posted in the last few months. Sometimes or well most of the time, I forget I can write in here as well.
Things are good and I start some part-time work on Monday which is great! I'm excited to get out of the house more and talk to people.
My stomach is growling even though I had breakfast, crazy but guesses I need a mid-morning snack.
I am going downstairs soon to cook turkey bacon, I will be making a chicken bacon ranch pasta salad on Monday and want to cook the turkey bacon ahead of time. I always thought turkey bacon would not taste good when I worked at a college cafeteria but I was wrong, it's not bad at all and I love it.
Now I buy Turkey bacon and love cooking it and having it with meals, think it will go good on a tuna sandwich today.

Cinnamon and Sugar Popcorn
Hello and happy Tuesday! I hope all of you are well and having a great week so far. My week has been ok so far and today I made popcorn and added some Cinnamon and Sugar to the popcorn.
You are probably wondering why I am talking about this. Since the first of the year, I have been working on my health and wellness journey. I started working out and logging food and losing some weight, my mental health had a great boost and I was happy.
I don't work out as often but I look for new foods or recipes and try new things. An online friend suggested popcorn because I had said I wanted junk food and popcorn is lower in calories when it is plain.
You can add seasoning to the popcorn and give it some flavor so, I looked online and found a few ways to dress up popcorn. I don't mind plain popcorn but it would need some flavor.
Today I made a small batch of popcorn, I have a popcorn container from the Pampered chef that you can use in the microwave to pop the popcorn, used a small amount of olive oil, and put the microwave on for 4 minutes.
After the popcorn was done, I took it out of the microwave and added cinnamon and sugar while tossing (shaking) it up. I only used 2 teaspoonfuls of cinnamon and sugar.

Dishes Done! Now to Knit!
Hello to everyone! I hope all of you are well today and I hope that the week is going well fr you.
I just did some dishes, not all of them are done but let the ones I did wash, dry. I also made ramen noodles for my lunch for tomorrow.
I have been looking at meal prep videos to get some inspiration and I have been using bento boxes for my lunches while I am home during the day. I love bento boxes!!!
Tomorrow I will have ramen noodles in chicken broth, thin-sliced pork chops, and need to figure out a vegetable and maybe a small snack. The ramen noodles I got from the grocery store were in the Asian aisle and it was a miso soup with ramen noodles.
I am not a fan of miso soup and yes I have tried it, just don't like it. I like the noodles and cooked those instead. Just need to cook the pork chops tomorrow and figure out the vegetable and make black bean corn salsa salad.
Grocery day is Thursday and I am sticking to a budget when going, I did add apples but I may go apple picking this weekend after giving blood. Don't worry, I will load up on snacks and plenty of water.
Cortlands are almost ready and they are my favourite apple and I would love some apples with almond butter.
Now that I have ranted on long enough, I need to find something to watch and work on my knitting project.

I Keep Thinking It's Thursday
Good morning folks and happy Wednesday! I keep thinking it is Thursday and I am not sure why.
I have music playing as I type this and it's putting me in a great mood, today is going great so far and I have a few things to get done.
Today's goals are to knit on the second baby blanket and get more length, fold laundry, and meal plan meals for the rest of the week. I am running out of ideas but will look online for inspiration for lunches. Breakfast is easy to plan for the most part, it's either eggs or cereal, or toast.
I am using an app to help with meal planning and I love it, I plan to pay for it after my free trial ends. This app called, "Plan to Eat", is worth the money and you can play snacks out too, import recipes of your own or from the web.
So, today's goals need to be accomplished by dinner time. I'm hoping to get this done and stick to a routine (helpful for me).
Not much else is new, things are good, and will try to update more. I have been posting on my review page with recipes to inspire other folks for meals. It's fun and I enjoy sharing recipes.

It's Thursday!!!
Hello and happy Thursday folks! I am alive and well in case you are wondering where have I been?
Not much is going on even though restrictions in my town have been lifted for COVID which is nice. I don't mind staying at home because I like to knit and binge-watch Netflix. Getting out for walks has been on the back burner for now, hopefully, I can slowly ease back into walking.
I am home with a family right now and I really want some peace and quiet but that is not happening. Things are good and got some dishes washed.
Meal prep is my new thing and I love it! I found an app (don't remember how I stumbled onto this) that helps me plans meals out for breakfast and lunch. I don't plan dinner because my grandfather cooks dinner for everyone.
Meal prep has helped me a lot and I love that I can add in snacks too. This app is great and this way I don't have to figure out what to make for lunch the day of. I love it, sadly the free trial is 30 days then you have to pay or don't use the app. I will decide before my free trial is up on what I plan to do.
Not much else is new with me, I am just knitting and watching movies/tv shows and relaxing.

It's Weigh-In Day!
I am stressed out, nearly had a mental breakdown this morning, and trying to relax at this very moment. In other good news, it's weigh-in day!
Today's results are:
Weight; 193.1 down 2lbs from last week :)
Body Fat: 45.3 down 0.2% from last week
Hips: 44 1/2 inches (this stayed the same from last week)
Waist: 45 inches down 3/16(?) from last week (45 3/16inches)
Since starting my health journey and trying to be more active and eat better, I have lost a total of 5.6lbs!!!!
The hard work is paying off!
Today is a setback but I needed to just rest today and hopefully, soon I can get back into my workouts. My grandfather is in the hospital and I think with being home to help my niece, I am very stressed out which is not normal for me.
I did get to take a nap today and I feel better but I am sure I will be stressed again tomorrow so not sure if I will get a workout in or not.
Things are good otherwise and I did receive week 2 of Factor_ meals today. May eat one tomorrow or start eating them on Friday. Not sure what I got, I can pick for next week too.

Working Out, 5K this Weekend
Hello everyone and how are you? I hope you are well and doing great!
I am trying to lose weight this year and hopefully lose 15lbs. This will be tough but I am going to try. I have been working out with Ring Fit Adventure on the Nintendo Switch which is going very well. I love the Ring Fit Adventure!
Today was leg day on the Ring Fit and my legs are feeling it. I also have Just Dance 2020 and Zumba so maybe I will switch it up this week. I do have a virtual 5k this weekend and will do that early Saturday morning. Not sure how early I will get up but I will. I weigh in tomorrow and will post about my weight and waist/hip measurements and do that weekly. I will use #weightlossjourney on the post incase you want to keep up.
I feel great after the workouts and not as sad as I have been. Staying home and working from home is nice but I need to get out more and socialize, I miss that part about going to work.
Sorry had to update Twitter about a new schedule for streaming my knitting and that I did a workout, lol. I also need to work on my knitting too which I will do after I post this entry.
Not much else is new, made a dental appointment, paid some bills and I feel good about paying bills. Maybe I can get ahead for next month soon? Will see how that goes.
Need to knit and find something to watch, my review page is where I post about food and movies/shows I watch. Yes, sometimes I am late on watching shows that everyone else has already seen, it's ok. I like to blog and I will stick with it.

A New Year!
I am taking a break from playing Assassin's Creed and I want to move around.
Happy New Year!
It's another year and I am going to live my best life! Well, at least I will try.
This week has been good so far, I have been working out, eating more green vegetables and I fried up some kale today and put light salt on it and that was so good! I will have to make more soon.
I am donating blood on Monday so I am trying to eat better, work out more, and just have fun. I did my Ring Fit Adventure today and I am tired but feel great!
Not much else is new with me, Christmas was okay and I have not done much else.
Family is good, went food shopping for green vegetables today, and came home, made lunch, and took a nap. The workout made me tired and I didn't do a long workout but it feels good.
Will try to post next week.
